A Production Support Analyst specialising in Control-M with several years experience in both troubleshooting & upgrading the Productions environments and testing and upgrading the UAT and Development environments . With emphasis on reducing the size of the database. Improved reporting on various aspects of the product and speeding up the Newday process. Recently called into help our team in Zurich to successfully upgrade them to 620 after helping them redesign there environment. Also migrating the London environments from 224 to 620, with several years of experience with Sybase and 3 years with Oracle databases.

Whilst at CSFB as a Production support technical analyst (special projects) in a fast changing multinational banking environment with experience in both Operations and Production support/systems areas and also held a managerial post. Represented the company in NY as a technical team member responsible for Control-M.

Quick Europe is a Japanese owned company providing Financial Information via a Tri-Polar Network. A considerable number of financial companies contribute to Quick's database. The data is presented to clients via a terminal called a Q10E. this allows enquiries of Realtime data, Graphs and Historical data as well as Financial News items from  acknowledged vendors. A Q10E Emulator for the PC exists for use in the Windows 3.1 environment. Quick also produce the Quick Databoard which displays items from the Q10E's database on a large board with text displayed in three colours.

The Hughes network was introduced to allow greater control over the communications environment.

1989 - 1991 Team Leader

Starting Position :- Operator 89 ( Shift Deputy 90 – Team Leader 91 )

Main Achievements:

  • Development of a standard procedure for daily tasks which was incorporated into daily housekeeping.
  • Creating a user friendly front end for a PC.

Successfully and efficiently carried out the following duties:-

Tandem

  • Powering up and down the LIVE system and associated hardware, i.e. PUPping up the lines, PPD and PUP listdev.
