Quick Europe is a Japanese owned company providing Financial Information via a Tri-Polar Network. A considerable
number of financial companies contribute to Quick's database. The data is presented to clients via a terminal called a
Q10E. this allows enquiries of Realtime data, Graphs and Historical data as well as Financial News items from
acknowledged vendors. A Q10E Emulator for the PC exists for use in the Windows 3.1 environment. Quick also
produce the Quick Databoard which displays items from the Q10E's database on a large board with text displayed in three colours.

GLOBALINK. The products run on Tandem and Stratus respectively. Equinet is an Interface / Menu presentation to the
BESS System (Banking Electronic Support System) created by Logica Data Architects.
The Hughes network was introduced to allow greater control over the communications environment.
1989 - 1991 Team Leader
Starting Position :- Operator 89 ( Shift Deputy 90 – Team Leader 91 )
Main Achievements:
- Development of a standard procedure for daily tasks which was incorporated into daily housekeeping.
- Creating a user friendly front end for a PC.
Successfully and efficiently carried out the following duties:-

- Powering up and down the LIVE system and associated hardware, i.e. PUPping up the lines, PPD and PUP listdev.
